A few years ago I was visiting Syracuse, New York and really enjoyed listening to some old time radio shows. Since then I haven’t found a local radio station in my area that plays these old programs, so I either listened to CD’s or did without. That is until I was playing around in iTunes and discovered I could listen to all kinds of radio programs, even some in languages other than English. A few of the varied categories include Ambient, Classical, Comedy, Dance, Golden Oldies, International, Pop, Sports, and Talk/Spoken Word. Now I have a place to listen to radio I can’t get locally.
If you don’t subscribe to satellite radio and you’re tired of the local stations or just want to find something different to listen to check out iTunes. If you’re not familiar with iTunes, the software is free and it needs to be downloaded to your computer. To learn more and get the download click here.
